SUMMARY:Vinges School Reunion
DESCRIPTION:The Door County Historical Society is delighted to announce the highly anticipated Vignes School Reunion\, set to take place at Heritage Village on Saturday\, September 16 from 11 am – 4 pm. The event is open-house style\, participants are encourage to come when they can and stay as long as they’d like.  \nThe event will feature a variety of exciting activities and engaging programs for all age groups\, including special recognition of all Vignes School Alumni\, opportunities to record oral histories\, participate in a commemorative artistic installation\, and participate in an authentic 1890s school lesson. Also tours inside the preserved Vignes Schoolhouse will be given\, along with a curated collection of memorabilia\, photographs\, and artifacts from the school’s history\, proudly displayed by the Door County Historical Society. \nThe Vignes School Reunion at Heritage Village is open to the public\, with a special invitation to all former students\, faculty\, and anyone with fond memories of the school.For more information and to RSVP\, please contact Michaela Kraft at michaela@doorcountyhistoricalsociety.org or call 920-421-2332.
