Bizarre History of Wisconsin: Strange Stories from Our Past

Filled with tales of strange deaths, ghosts, sea serpents, peculiar people, medical anomalies, oddities, psychic phenomena, and UFOs, this presentation will certainly change the way you view the good ol’ days of Wisconsin.
A wide variety of Strange events will be discussed including: Mysterious Creatures roaming the area, Bizarre Deaths, Ghosts and spirits, Medical Anomalies, Peculiar People, UFOs, Psychic Phenomena, and other Oddities. While researching the long history of some cases of hauntings, Chad happened to run into some very weird newspaper stories and began printing them out for his own amusement. Eventually, he wondered how many more puzzling stories he could discover if he actively sought them out. Thus began Chad’s trek into Wisconsin’s bizarre past.
Chad Lewis is a researcher, author, and lecturer on topics of the strange and unusual. For over two decades Chad Lewis has traveled the backroads of the world in search of the strange and unusual. The more bizarre the legend, the more likely it is that you will find Chad there.
The Monday, July 22 dinner will be catered by Pink Catering, the menu includes Oregano Lemon Roasted Chicken, Rosemary Merlot Beef Tips, Herbed Roasted Baby Red Potatoes, Grilled Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Carrots in a dill butter, Sunflower Salad, and assorted desserts.
Price is $25 for members, $28 for guests.
