As part of Door County's History Days, visiting tribal representatives and local Door County historians will explore the importance of Indigenous storytelling.
Come discover Door County's history of commercial fishing. Charles Henriksen from Henriksen Fisheries will speak. Crafts will celebrate Wisconsin's free fishing weekend, and tours of the Kohl fish house will be offered.
Make your own cherry craft while learning about the peninsula's rich agricultural history from Rebecca Wiepz of the Peninsular Agricultural Research Station.
Egg Harbor postmaster Tom Anschutz shares the history of the post office in Door County. Visitors will have the opportunity to design their own stamp after the presentation.
