Historian Tom Melville will lead visitors in an authentic game of cricket as it was played in the 1880s. Participation is encouraged!

Cesar Escobar demonstrates metalworking, melting and forming pieces for visitors.
July Dinner Program – History of Fishing in Door County
The Log Den 6626 WI-42, Egg Harbor, WiJoin us at the Log Den in Egg Harbor for a presentation on the history of commerical fishing in Door County. Cost is $45 (DCHS member pay $40) Registration due by July 17, 2023

Join Christiana and Nik from Door County Candle Company to learn about the history of candle making. Watch a candle making demonstration!
Saturdays at the Village – Whip Darts
Join Robert Florence in crafting traditional whip darts from natural materials. Families are encouraged to participate in making on of these historic toys to take home.
Saturdays at the Village – Open Door Bird Sanctuary
Learn about raptors of Door County and meet the birds! Representatives from the Open Door Bird Sanctuary will be onsite to teach and facilitate interaction with a few "high-flying" members of their organization. Don't miss it!
