Greetings!

Yesterday was spending prepping for painting.

When I arrived today at about 3:30 the underside of the south roof overhang had been painted lead color. The back door frame had been primed. Prep work was being done at the east gable. Josh and Dion encountered significant deterioration of the gable spire. A lot of wood has rotted away. For now they are going to paint it to make it “look good”. A new one might have to be made. We will need John Fletcher’s advice on how to proceed. If we have to have a new one made perhaps cypress might be a good wood choice. It is durable, stable, water and rot resistant.
