The start of a new season at Heritage Village is always something special—and this year, we’re kicking it off in style with our Opening Day Celebration on Friday, May 31. We’re inviting our friends, neighbors, and history lovers to help make this event a success by signing up to volunteer.
Whether you’ve volunteered before or are thinking about getting involved for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to support the Door County Historical Society while meeting new people and having fun in a historic setting. We need helping hands in a variety of roles, including:
- Historical Interpreters to bring our buildings to life
- Gift Shop Sales assistants to welcome visitors
- Vintage and Bake Sale Table volunteers
- Set-Up and Clean-Up Crew to keep things running smoothly
This event helps introduce more people to the charm and significance of Heritage Village—and we can’t do it without a strong team of volunteers behind the scenes.
