From the Keeper’s Desk – June 6

Greetings!

More progress today when the barn was insulated. The insulators will return Monday to insulate the summer kitchen.

Deanna and Chuck stained two more bundles of shingles.

Chuck reported on the day’s activities as follows:

Deanna Swanson and I stained 2 bundles of cedar shake shingles, about 120 per bundle.  Alpine Insulation installed the insulation in the barn.  Laurie & Chuck helped Sydney for the 3:15 bus tour and then picked-up and stacked the 240 shingles that were dry from staining in the morning, leaving about 5:00pm.  We’re about 40% done with the shingle staining.
