We are honored to share that the Door County Historical Society has been nominated for a grant from 100+Women Who Care! This incredible group of women comes together quarterly to make a big impact—each member contributes $100, and their collective donation is awarded to a local nonprofit selected during their meeting. It’s grassroots giving at its most powerful.
Amy Frank, Executive Director of DCHS, will attend the group’s upcoming meeting on Monday, July 28 to speak about our mission and the importance of educational programming for children and families at Heritage Village. These programs bring history to life through engaging, hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity and learning in young minds.
A grant from 100+WWC would be a game-changer for our organization. It would allow us to expand our offerings, bring in new educational materials, and increase access to our living history programs—ensuring more families can explore Door County’s unique past.
If you’re a member of 100+Women Who Care, we’d be honored to have your vote (if you are unable to attend in person, you vote in advance. Check your 100+WWC email for the link.) Your support helps us keep local history alive and accessible for the next generation.
