This Saturday, August 30, from 1:00–2:00 pm, Heritage Village invites young history enthusiasts to dig into the past! Our Saturdays at the Village program, Archeologists for Kids, offers a hands-on experience that brings history to life.
Children will explore the fascinating work of archeologists, see real archeological tools up close, and even participate in a mock dig to uncover hidden treasures. It’s a chance to learn how professionals piece together clues from the past to better understand the lives of people who came before us.
We’re also thrilled to welcome special guest Michaela Kraft, who will share stories from an actual archeological excavation she joined in the country of Jordan. Her firsthand experience will inspire kids to see history not just as something in books, but as a living puzzle waiting to be discovered.
This program is included with general admission and is a perfect way for families to spend the afternoon exploring Heritage Village and learning together.
Join us this Saturday for an unforgettable adventure into the world of archeology!
