From the Keeper’s Desk – Restoration Updates

Greetings!

Still lots to do and more to be done at the light station. And a bunch of pictures to show all that has been happening.

Screen doors have been installed on the barn and summer kitchen. HVAC work has begun. The lower window sashes with the new muntins installed to turn them into the historic divided light windows they once were arrived and are being reinstalled. Storage shelves were built for the barn hayloft. Screen doors and windows are getting painted.

Everytning at Eagle Bluf is coming together and the place looks amazing!
Thanks for the update. Folks should visit as the pictures are great but in person is awesome!

  2. The Eagle Bluff Team made tremendous progress this season and accomplished much! Congrats on ushering the vision to fruition. Preserving the lighthouse’s history so accurately will help visitors imagine these bygone days of hard work and dedication to keep maritime waters safe.

    Well done!
