Greetings,
Eric is making great progress on the HVAC system. It can be operational once the electricians get power to it. As it is going to be getting much colder we need it to be running soon.
Chuck took on getting the kitchen window to close properly at the top and he succeeded.

From Amy:
“Heard back from Keeney Home Services. We are scheduled for Friday, Nov 21. A crew of 3 will arrive between 8am-9am. They believe they can complete the work in one day.”
Below is Chuck’s report on another issue, getting ductwork to the small second floor bedroom. Thanks Chuck for making it work.
Ed
“Ed heard from Eric (the Wulf Bros. HVAC installer) that he would not be able to get an HVAC duct to the second floor guest room due to blocking between the floor joists. I had noticed this last June when I was looking at the attic space for insulation. The blocking is about four feet away from the accessible end of the floor joist in both sides of the knee walls. Well, I couldn’t let it happen that there would be no HVAC in the guest room so my engineering ingenuity got going and I was able to successfully remove the blocking to allow access for an HVAC duct to be installed. I can’t say that this task was particularly fun or easy, crawling into the attic space and being careful not to slip and damage the ceiling below where I was working. Anyway, it is done and Eric should now be able to get a duct installed. See before and after photos below. The before photo was taken in June.” –Chuck
