As we celebrate 100 years of preserving and sharing Door County’s history, we are launching a special Centennial Multigenerational History Project—and we need your help.
We are seeking 100 individuals whose lives help tell the story of Door County. These are the people who have built businesses, worked the land and water, served their communities, raised families, and witnessed the changes that have shaped this remarkable place.
We’re looking for residents with deep ties to the county—through family, work, service, or tradition—and we hope to feature a wide range of perspectives from across Door County.
You can nominate yourself or someone you admire: a parent, grandparent, neighbor, colleague, or friend. If their story reflects the spirit of Door County, we want to hear about them.
Help us make sure the right voices are preserved as part of this historic centennial project.

I have a historical Substack about people, places and events in Southern Door County that you are welcome to use for your project. Some of the influential persons like Rev. John B. Evraeds are deceased so do not know if you want to include them. I have made one nomination using your form but there are many in my Substack.
