Greetings!
Mike and Billy were back working in the barn on the slat wall installation and sales counter. It looks fantastic. The slat wall will be perfect for displaying merchandise.
They also moved the dry sink in the lighthouse winter kitchen into the dining room. The winter kitchen is totally empty now for Taylor to sand and refinish the floor. He is planning on doing so Thursday April 16 and depending on his schedule maybe even Wednesday April 15. Chuck put wheels under each piano leg so Taylor can move it around in the music room when he works on restoring the floor. It will not fit through the doors. Everything else will be moved out of the room. Same for the parlor. It will be empty of all but the stove. Taylor will work around it when restoring the floor. Hopefully he can get the floors done in the music room and parlor when he works on the winter kitchen floor.
Our painters are planning on being back Friday April 10.
Eric Hyde said that this week he plans on having his staff clean up brush by the barn and open up the area where the well will be going.
Chuck got the basement organized and cleaned up. It never looked better.
