Root Beer Fest is one of the Door County Historical Society’s most anticipated summer traditions, and it wouldn’t be possible without the incredible volunteers who make it all happen.
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to help us create a memorable day for hundreds of visitors. Whether you can give a few hours or spend the day with us, there’s a volunteer opportunity that’s just right for you.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Serving delicious root beer floats
- Assisting with children’s activities and historic games
- Greeting visitors
- Helping with set-up and clean-up
- Assisting throughout the festival grounds
No special experience is necessary—just a willingness to lend a hand and have fun! It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, support local history, and enjoy one of Door County’s sweetest summer events from the inside.
Every volunteer plays an important role in making Root Beer Fest a success. Your time and talents help us create an enjoyable experience for families while supporting the Door County Historical Society’s mission of preserving and sharing Door County’s rich history.
Ready to join us? Gather a friend, choose a shift, and come be part of this beloved community tradition. We can’t wait to work alongside you!
Thank you for helping us keep history alive—one root beer float at a time!
