Ever Wondered what Eagle Bluff Light Station is like after dark?

Most visitors experience the lighthouse during the day, but for just two evenings this fall, we’re keeping the doors open after our regular hours for Twilight Tours—a rare opportunity to explore Eagle Bluff Light Station at night.

Join us Saturday, September 26 or Saturday, October 3, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. and discover a very different side of this historic Door County landmark.

Explore the keeper’s residence as costumed interpreters share stories of the people who lived and worked at Eagle Bluff. Hear lighthouse poetry and stories from the past, and enjoy period-specific live music inside the historic home.

One of the highlights of the evening is a climb up the lighthouse tower. At night, you’ll have the special opportunity to see the original Fresnel lens glowing above you in the lantern room—something you simply can’t experience during a daytime visit.

You’ll also visit the reconstructed summer kitchen, where refreshments will be waiting, and have time to browse the gift shop in the barn.
