The foundation walls for the barn and summer kitchen have been completed, with insulation installed afterward. Fitzgerald Construction will backfill next week, followed by conduit placement for plumbing. The floor is anticipated to be poured the Monday after Easter, with framing beginning shortly thereafter. Acknowledgments were given to the team and architect.

Today, the forms for the barn and summer kitchen foundation walls were set. The intricate process of preparation is significant yet appears effortless. A cement truck is scheduled to arrive on Friday noon to proceed with the next phase. More updates will follow.

Heritage Village is preparing for the season with a Clean-Up Day on May 17, inviting community volunteers to help clean and organize its historic buildings.
