November Dine & Discover Program

Our November program features Joe Taylor of the Door County Museum & Archives as he explores how fruit growing, especially cherry and apple orchards, took root on the Door Peninsula. Discover how geology, climate, immigration, and tourism all combined to shape one of Door County’s most iconic industries. Artifacts from the Door County Museum collection will help bring this story to life, along with a special presentation of recently digitized vintage audio and video recordings featuring people directly in Door County’s fruit growing history.
