We invite you to join fellow members and friends for an engaging afternoon of food, music, and shared history at our February 2026 Dine & Discover program.
On February 28, we’ll gather at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club for a luncheon and presentation that highlights one of Door County’s most cherished cultural institutions. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., lunch begins at noon, and the program follows. We welcome everyone, and we strongly encourage advance registration.
Our featured speaker, Jenna Ferdon, Executive Director of the Birch Creek Music Performance Center, will present Birch Creek Music Performance Center: 50 Seasons of Performance-Based Learning. Jenna will trace Birch Creek’s transformation from a historic County E farm into a nationally recognized music education center. She will also explain how Birch Creek’s performance-based learning model continues to shape students, professional musicians, and the Door County community.
Guests will enjoy a plated luncheon with a choice of Cherry BBQ Meatloaf, Chicken Velouté, or a Vegetarian Apple Gorgonzola Salad, along with coffee, water, and cookies. A cash bar will also be available.
As we celebrate the Door County Historical Society’s 100th anniversary, each 2026 Dine & Discover program will feature a special “Highlights of Our History” segment. Through these brief presentations, we will share meaningful moments from our first century and connect today’s programs to the legacy our members help sustain.
The cost to attend is $40 per person, or $35 for DCHS members. Register online below, call 920-421-2332, or stop by 130 N. 4th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.
Dine & Discover programs strengthen our mission to preserve, maintain, and share Door County’s history. When you attend—or when you choose to make an additional donation—you help our organization grow and ensure that these programs and stories continue well into the future.
