Greetings!
There was activity both outside and inside the lighthouse today.
Outside the barn and summer kitchen foundations were backfilled and the inside of the foundations were filled with compacted gravel. Boulders that were too big for backfill were put on the truck and hauled away. There were some tree stumps on the south side of the barn that got dug out and hauled away. It looks really nice with the holes backfilled and the piles of dirt, rocks, boulders and stumps gone. Fantastic job by the JF Construction guys.
Inside the lighthouse is undergoing a transformation starting with painting in the winter kitchen and dining room. It already looks brighter and more inviting thanks to our great painting team of Beth, Bob and Jeanne.
Next up Mike from Action Electric will be working on the floor outlet placement, data line and well conduit early next week and Jude is planning on pouring the slabs weather dependent. Build will be following this. Mike Laaksonen will be starting on the summer kitchen first.
