From the Keeper’s Desk – August 18

Greetings,

It may have lightly rained a few times today but that did not stop Colosimo’s Construction from getting a lot done. Old sidewalk was removed, forms set and filled with gravel. What did not get finished today will be completed tomorrow morning to be ready for concrete when the cement truck arrives sometime Tuesday afternoon. Concrete delivery is scheduled for mid afternoon because rain prevented some concrete pouring today and those deliveries will be going out before they get to us.

The rain today was an annoyance but everything that needed to be done got done. The weather forecast for the rest of the week looks promising for concrete work and grading.

Josh and Deion were back this morning. We did not see much of them because they were busy inside the lighthouse painting the tower steps and hand railing.

And it is great to see the lighthouse and new buildings without the orange fence. Mike took it out really early this morning.

It’s great to see your projects getting completed.
    The barn doors look awesome.
The orange fence served a purpose, but it looks great to see the buildings without it.
Thanks for your update and all your work!
We appreciate all the volunteers and workmen on this project.
    Thank you!
