From the Keeper’s Desk – July 21

Greetings!

It was house cleaning in the lighthouse first thing this morning. Everything needed a good dusting and vacuuming. All completed before opening for visitors.

Jeanne was working on patching some holes in the lighthouse back door and painting some trim. Beth was working on putting a clear coat of sealer on the barn first floor walls.

Billy and Mike installed the deck at the barn main entrance. Not much more for them to do until the doors for the barn main entrance arrive.

Deanna and John dropped off a dry sink for the summer kitchen and a table, chairs and a filing cabinet for the barn hayloft. Nothing will go in the hayloft until the floor is sanded and sealed.
