From the Keeper’s Desk – June 9

Greetings!

We had our monthly Eagle Bluff Light Station committee meeting today, so I was not at the lighthouse all that much. I did catch pictures of some highlights of the day’s activities.

Insulation has been completed with the summer kitchen being done today.

Copper gutters were installed on the barn. The gutter guys will come back to install downspouts after the siding is installed on the barn.

Billy and Cory installed the water table trim boards at the bottom of the barn.

Josh and Deion were up in the lantern looking for small leaks where water was getting in at the seams in the lantern sections.

Word is that American Metal will be here to start installing the roofs on the barn and summer kitchen.
