Greetings!
It was an action packed day at the light station. Staff and volunteers were on hand to prepare the lighthouse for opening day Friday May 23. Cannot say enough about how wonderful the lighthouse looks with everything in place after all the inside painting.
Action Electric was working on power for the summer kitchen and barn.
National Restoration arrived to continue their restoration work.
Laaksonen Builders was working on framing inside the barn.
The day was capped off by a Door County Historical Society dinner program at Villaggio’s Restaurant. It was a fine dinner of distinction and an interesting program by Meredith Renard about the Legacy of Service that explores the lives of early northeast Wisconsin settlers who were the children and grandchildren of American Revolution patriots.
