Greetings!

Wednesday the tower was power washed. Looks really good.

Thursday Josh and Dion started sanding paint off shutters.

John Fletcher was on site in the afternoon. John wanted to give us an idea of what the lantern will look like so he had the guys do some preliminary painting, the vent ball, a couple roof panels and a couple side wall panels. That was exciting to see. It looks great. The insets on the wall panels will be grey to match the fascia and cornice “lead color”. They will do one inset white in so we can see what that looks like in case we decide they should be white.

The park had someone cleaning the outhouse this morning. I thanked him and he said he was sorry they do not have a better facility for visitors. He had hoped it might be replaced when the big tree fell on the roof but instead the roof was repaired. He also said the grass should be cut sometime next week.
