In honor of Wisconsin’s 177th statehood anniversary and the approach of Memorial Day weekend, the Door County Historical Society invites the public to attend its May Dine & Discover program: “A Legacy of Service” on Monday, May 19 at Villagio’s in Egg Harbor.
This timely and thoughtful presentation by Meredith Renard explores the lives of early settlers in northeast Wisconsin who were the children and grandchildren of American Revolution patriots. These individuals carried forward a powerful legacy of service, helping to shape and build the communities of our region. Developed by the Jean Nicolet Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, this program serves as a tribute to those who served before us and to the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. The presentation will begin immediately after dinner. The cost is $40 per person, with a discounted rate of $35 for DCHS members.
The Dine & Discover series offers a warm and engaging setting for community members to learn more about our shared history while enjoying a delicious meal and meaningful conversation. Seating is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
To reserve your seat or to learn more, click the button below or call (920) 421-2332. Proceeds support the Historical Society’s ongoing mission to collect, preserve, and share the history of Door County through preservation, education, and programming.
