Mark your calendars and bring your thirst—our 11th Annual Root Beer Festival is coming up on Saturday, July 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Village in Sturgeon Bay!
This family-friendly event is a celebration of sweet, fizzy nostalgia, packed with hands-on activities, delicious food, and of course—plenty of root beer. Sample a flight of unique root beer brands, cool off with classic root beer floats, and enjoy games and crafts that are fun for all ages.
Explore the historic buildings of Heritage Village, meet costumed interpreters, and experience life as it was in a rural crossroads village from 1890–1910. With food vendors, live music, and root beer surprises throughout the day, there’s something for everyone.
Admission is $5 for adults; kids 17 and under get in free. Activity tickets are also $5 and can be used for root beer floats, tasting flights, cookies, and cold delicious root beer. Donations are always welcome to help the Door County Historical Society preserve local history and offer meaningful, educational events like this one.
Whether you’re a returning fan or visiting for the first time, we can’t wait to share the magic of the Village—and a frosty glass of root beer—with you. See you July 12!
