Glimpse of Christmas Past

Each Friday and Saturday in December from 4pm - 7pm, step into beautifully decorated buildings, each brought to life with historic holiday decor provided by local nonprofit organizations. Admission is free - vote for your favorite building with your donation. Enjoy hot chocolate or coffee in the Greene Store. Bring the whole family and be part of this holiday tradition!

Twilight Tours

Immerse yourself in an enchanting evening of history, culture, and creativity against the backdrop of the stunning Door County coastline. Twilight Tours is a unique event at Eagle Bluff Lighthouse that features captivating music, captivating stories, and inspiring poetry readings, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

Apple Festival

Make plans to join the Door County Historical Society's Apple Fest '24, on September 21st from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Heritage Village. This family-friendly event provides a delightful day of apple-themed festivities, delicious treats, historical insights, and wholesome entertainment.

Wisconsin's Wonder Women Series

Thanks to a generous grant from the Women’s Fund of Door County, we are thrilled to celebrate notable Wisconsin women with three special events spanning the summer. These events will take place on the last Saturday of July, August, and September 2024 at Heritage Village. Each program will begin at 1 pm, is free to the public, and will highlight the extraordinary contributions and diverse experiences of Wisconsin women.

Root Beer Festival

July 13, 2024 we will celebrate our 10th Annual Root Beer Festival at Heritage Village! Highlights include root beer tasting and root beer floats, as well as a history of root beer, brewing demonstration, historic games for the whole family, live music with polka lessons, and more! There will be something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. Event runs from 10am - 3pm. Cost of admission is $5 for adults, 17 and under are free!

Historic High Tea

Embark on a captivating journey back to the enchanting 1890s and immerse yourself in the charm of a bygone era with our extraordinary historic high tea at Heritage Village on Saturday, April 20 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

Opening Day

Everyone is welcome to join us for Opening Day at Heritage Village on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10am-3pm. Explore our historic buildings, enjoy delicious food, listen to music, and watch demonstrations. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
