Eagle Bluff Light Station Closed Briefly for Improvements

Eagle Bluff Light Station will be closed from Monday, August 18 through Friday, August 22 as we take on some important restoration projects.

During that week, we’ll be removing and repouring the concrete sidewalks around the lighthouse to make the site safer and more accessible. We’ll also be doing interior restoration work that requires several days without foot traffic inside. For everyone’s safety, the site will be completely closed while this work is underway.

We’ll reopen on Saturday, August 23, and from that day forward, we’ll be open seven days a week until late October. I’m excited for you to see the improvements, and I’m grateful for your patience while we make them happen.

Preserving Eagle Bluff Light Station is an investment in our shared history. This work helps ensure that the lighthouse continues to welcome and inspire visitors for generations to come.

If you’d like to help us keep this historic treasure shining bright, please consider making a donation. Your support makes projects like this possible.
