The champagne is chilling, the band is getting ready, and now there’s just one thing missing — you!
Registration is officially open for A Roaring Good Time: Cheers to 100 Years, the Door County Historical Society’s Centennial Celebration, happening Thursday, October 1 at 6:00 p.m. at The Lodge at Leathem Smith.
For 100 years, the Door County Historical Society has worked to preserve and share the people, places, and stories that make Door County special. On October 1 — exactly 100 years after the Society was founded — we’re throwing a party worthy of the occasion!
And because our story began in 1926, we’re heading straight back to the Roaring Twenties for the evening.
Guests can look forward to live music and dancing, a champagne toast, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar featuring a signature cocktail, and plenty of special touches and surprises throughout the evening as we celebrate a century of Door County history.
Break out the fringe, feathers, bow ties, suspenders, and fedoras! 1920s-inspired attire is encouraged, but certainly not required. Come dressed for the era or simply come ready to celebrate.
Get Your Tickets Soon!
Tickets are $60 per person or $45 for DCHS members, and space is limited.
This is a once-in-a-century celebration, and we expect it to be a popular one. Don’t wait to register — get your tickets now before we sell out!
Whether you’ve been part of the Door County Historical Society for decades or are just getting to know us, you’re invited to raise a glass, hit the dance floor, and help us toast the remarkable first 100 years of the DCHS — and the century still to come.
