Greetings!
Jeanne has been busy painting the upstairs boys bedroom, windows throughout the lighthouse and the ceiling hatches the insulators installed to insulate above the kitchen and second floor ceilings. Jeanne said she appreciates having electrical outlets throughout the lighthouse and not having to run extension cords from the only outlets that were in the kitchen and basement last year. She also appreciates the central heat and not having to use portable heaters.
Chuck and I moved everything out of the parlor and music rooms so Taylor can work on the floors in those rooms while he is here to start refinishing the kitchen floor tomorrow. Most things ended up in the dining room with a few remaining things put in the bedroom and hall. Taylor will work around the stove in the parlor and shift the piano around in the music room to do the floor where it resides. It does not easily fit through doors to the other rooms. Chuck put casters under the legs to make it easier to move.
Chuck invented a tool to make it easier to open the windows. Very clever.
Mike said the plaster guys should be here sometime next week to put sheetrock and plaster veneer on the chase around the ducts passing through the bedroom.
