Greetings!
It was a busy day today at Eagle Bluff Light. More things that were in storage up in the barn hayloft went back to the lighthouse and put where they belong. Sandy, Linda, Laurie, Deanna, John, Chuck and I got a lot done. We are in good shape for the shape we are in, apologies to Dr Seuss for modifying his words.
John and Deanna were at the lighthouse over the weekend to get a head start vacuuming and lemon oiling furniture.
The roofing materials for the lighthouse were delivered yesterday. Tony Suarez plans on starting the roof work Friday at 0700.
John and I got the benches put out that were in the oil house. I think John had an ulterior motive for doing that today. He had a lawnmower that he needed to get in the oil house.
All said and done, it was a very satisfying day.
