A Few Seats Left: Reserve Your Spot at Our Historic Tea

There’s still time—but not much.

A few seats remain for this year’s Historic Tea, and you won’t want to miss this elegant, immersive afternoon. Register today and secure your place before it sells out.

Step back in time and savor a steaming cup of tea while uncovering the fascinating history behind it—and its surprising role in shaping a nation.

As part of our commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this special program will explore the Boston Tea Party and other pivotal moments when tea became a symbol of resistance during the American Revolution. It’s a story of bold choices, everyday items turned political, and the power of small acts to spark lasting change.

Enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches and sweet treats in the cozy, historic setting of the Warren House at Heritage Village—an experience that’s as delightful as it is meaningful.

Join us on Saturday, May 2 from 1–3 PM for this memorable afternoon. And don’t forget—half the fun is dressing the part. Break out your Sunday best—hats, gloves, and period-inspired attire encouraged—and add a touch of elegance to the experience.

Only a few spots remain. This event is limited to just 20 guests, with priority given to DCHS members.

Register today… before the last seat is poured.
